VICTORIAN FAMILY HOME IN SOUTH WOODFORD

Our client loved the high ceilings in their Victorian house and wanted to continue these into the new extension. To counter tight planning restrictions we lowered the floor level of the rear extension to gain precious height. Our designs followed the interesting lines of the existing building to create beautiful pitched ceilings internally and a dynamic elevation externally.  Crittall-style glazing extends from floor to ceiling, adding to the feeling of height and opening up the views of the garden.

A white butlers sink with brass taps, framed by white marble counter top and black wooden cabinets, sits at the end of a kitchen design with full height glass and crittall window to the side, leading on the garden. Exposed plaster walls, wooden chop…

Our favourite detail /

We love the organic feel of this project, which includes exposed plaster pink walls, the antique cupboard kitchen island and plenty of plants.

The result /

A home with real warmth and character that reflects the creativity of its owners.

Our clients say /

Whilst we started off with a decent idea of what we wanted out of the new space, Debbie was really good at coming up with alternative ideas and suggestions to fulfil our desired plan. She communicated well with our builder which removed the stress when it came to the execution. As a family, we now enjoy our new space every day.
